Imagine if Lassie and RoboCop had a baby… sort of. After a freak accident, a policeman and his loyal dog are fused together, creating Dog Man — a crime-fighting, half-human, half-canine hero. Along the way, Dog Man battles Petey the Cat (a villain with daddy issues), takes care of Lil Petey (a kid clone with too much energy), and learns that forgiveness and friendship might be more powerful than superpowers.
