Read something worth your attention.

THE PROBLEM THIS APP SOLVESReaders need a calmer way to discover rights-cleared, Christian-friendly books and keep a personal reading shelf.

LM Books is the reading side of LM Publishing: a growing library of public-domain and rights-cleared Christian-friendly books with personal progress, accessible reading and read-aloud support, connected to the same ecosystem where creators can build and submit their own work.

COMING SOON · BETA USER PREVIEWHelp shape LM Books before release.

Beta Users can use the working preview, report friction, suggest improvements, and help LM decide what earns the release line.

Test the beta

Founders are the people helping LM build forward.

Founder membership is a separate paid supporter program. Founders receive early-access privileges and permanent special-thanks recognition across LM software as the program rolls out. Beta Users remain the testing community.

Free beta access is for testing and feedback. It is not a promise that every preview feature is release-ready.

BEFORE YOU OPEN IT

Know the job, the files, and the cost first.

LMOS should answer the practical questions before showing you a long feature list.

WHAT PROBLEM DOES THIS APP SOLVE?Readers need a calmer way to discover rights-cleared, Christian-friendly books and keep a personal reading shelf.

WHO IS THIS FOR?Readers, families, churches, students, leaders and creators who want accessible rights-cleared books and a clear path from reading to creating.

WHAT CAN I MAKE?Work built around Free reading library, Reading progress, Accessible reader.

HOW DOES IT WORK?Browse the free rights-cleared reading library → Open a book in the LM reader and read at your own pace → Resume signed-in reading progress across the LM account

HOW DOES IT CONNECT TO PROJECTS?It stays inside your LMOS project system, so related tasks, files, collaborators and project context can remain connected instead of becoming another isolated account.

WHERE DO FILES LIVE?Your working files stay on this device. LMOS does not use Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, or LM-hosted storage as a user-file location.

WHAT DOES IT COST?0.1.2 · Free Public Beta · internal beta 0.1.2. LMOS never silently adds AI, storage or usage overages.

WHAT ARE THE CURRENT BOUNDARIES?Use the capabilities shown as available now. Local working files are enforced; publishing, communications, account and other requested online services remain separate from private file storage.

HOW DO I START?See the app first. When you are ready, choose the app trial or plan deliberately—starting LMOS does not silently start every specialist-app clock.

SHARED LMOS ENGINES · 2026.09.18

This app plugs into LMOS. It does not rebuild the operating system.

LM Books only uses the shared capabilities its job actually needs. Accounts, projects, people, tasks, files, notifications and other system services remain one ecosystem underneath the app.

Identity + AccessAccounts, profiles, roles and permissions.

One LM identity follows the person across apps.

LM Files + ReferencesSmall hosted assets plus references to local/Drive media.

Host what is inexpensive and useful; reference heavy originals.

Publishing + DistributionPublic pages, blogs, channels and release destinations.

Create privately; publish intentionally.

Metrics + ReportingReal activity, progress and outcome metrics.

Only show data LMOS can actually verify.

Plans + EntitlementsTrials, lifetime access, member tiers and app/AI entitlements.

One entitlement system should gate shared capabilities consistently.

THE LM CREATOR CHARTER

Make work that gives something back.

Create art that gives something back: truthful, hopeful, thoughtful, beautiful, useful and respectful of human dignity.

Create with purposeStories, books, films, music, teaching and software should help people see, understand, hope, learn or build.

Family-friendly by designChristian and family-friendly by design: clean language, modest presentation, no sexually explicit adult material, no graphic gore, no gratuitous violence, and no exploitative outrage or clickbait. Serious subjects can still be handled thoughtfully for story, testimony, education, history or care.

Serious does not mean sensationalDifficult subjects can be explored with context and dignity without turning suffering or violence into spectacle for attention.

“Whatsoever things are true… honest… just… pure… lovely… of good report… think on these things.” Philippians 4:8
