LM Draw 0.3.0 Beta: Layers, Stylus-Friendly Drawing and Export Without Design-Suite Overload
LM Draw is testing a layered illustration room with smooth drawing, simple shapes, color, opacity, stylus-friendly controls and high-quality PNG/JPEG export for creators who do not need a giant design suite.
What users can do
Draw smooth freehand strokes with adjustable size, opacity and color.
Use lines, rectangles and ellipses for simple constructed graphics.
Organize artwork into named layers.
Change layer visibility, order and opacity without flattening the project.
Use the tool comfortably with mouse, touch or stylus-oriented interaction.
Export high-quality PNG or JPEG files to the device.
Where LM Draw fits in the ecosystem
Graphics should be able to support the rest of the work: a character sketch for a script, storyboard art for Film Studio, a square image for a podcast, an illustration for a book or artwork for a website. The beta is testing those handoffs without forcing every app to become a drawing program.
What we want testers to test
Draw with a mouse and, when available, a stylus.
Create several layers and reorder them.
Change opacity and visibility repeatedly to confirm the project remains stable.
Export the work and inspect image quality.
Test whether the controls stay understandable on a tablet-sized screen.
Use the beta on real work.
