Kids With Disabilities Got to Live Their Baseball Dreams In Pittsburgh today, the Pirates Charities held their annual Fantasy Camp. But this wasn't just for adults chasing nostalgia. Participants from the Miracle League and Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids joined in: kids who live with disabilities that often keep them off traditional playing fields. These camps create space for children who are usually sidelined. They get to swing bats, run bases, and feel like part of a team. Volunteers and coaches show up not because they have to, but because they want to. They give time, encouragement, and dignity to kids who deserve all three.
