It's a reminder that creation still groans (Romans 8:22) and that our infrastructure, our conveniences, our carefully scheduled lives can be interrupted in a heartbeat. The violence? It's a stark picture of a fallen world where sin has real, devastating consequences. The military tensions? They're proof that peace isn't humanity's default setting, it's a supernatural gift.
