Before You Post It—Would Jesus Hit Share?

Cross in a golden field with the sun setting behind it.

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1 (NKJV)

Sometimes scrolling through social media feels less like fellowship and more like walking through a food fight at youth camp. Everyone's got their plate in the air, tossing opinions like mashed potatoes—and no one's holding the napkins.

But imagine if we shifted the whole mood. What if we treated social media not as a stage to win arguments, but as a table to serve grace?

Unity doesn't mean sameness—it means love strong enough to outlast disagreement. When believers post peace instead of proof, grace instead of gossip, and empathy instead of ego, people notice. They may forget your opinions, but they'll never forget how you made them feel.

Before You Post It—Would Jesus Hit Share?

3 Simple Ways to Make Social Media a Mission Field (Not a Minefield)

1️⃣ Pray before you post. Ten seconds of prayer can save ten hours of regret. Ask, "Lord, does this sound like You?" That one moment of pause can turn a reaction into revelation—and keep your digital witness spotless.

2️⃣ Add more encouragement than opinions . Kindness is the rarest content online. Compliments are free and multiply faster than negativity. Post a verse. Celebrate someone. Share good news. You'll shift atmospheres without mentioning algorithms.

3️⃣ Scroll like a missionary, not a judge. You're not here to win debates—you’re here to win hearts. Ask, “How can I shine light here?” not “How can I be right here?”A simple comment of encouragement can be the lifeline someone didn’t know they needed.

One Final Thought

You can’t control what the internet throws at you—but you can choose what you throw back. Every post is a seed. Every comment is an opportunity to sow peace. So today, post like Jesus is following you (spoiler: He absolutely is).

Let’s flood the timelines with faith, kindness, and quiet courage—until the digital world starts to resemble heaven a little more.

Daily Challenge:

Smile before you scroll. Encourage before you comment. Shine before you share.

And watch how quickly your feed becomes your mission field.
