Faith: Beyond the Ballot: Trusting God’s Authority in Shifting Times

Election debates can shake people deeply, but our hope is not in any bill, party, or process. As anxiety rises around election integrity and the SAVE Act, Christians can stay engaged without surrendering their peace, because God still rules over every earthly system.

The tension around election integrity and the SAVE Act has exposed real fear and division in the country. Some people worry the system is too vulnerable. Others worry new rules could make voting harder for lawful citizens. For many families, the result is exhaustion, suspicion, and a growing sense that peace is slipping away.

But our stability does not rest on political outcomes. Scripture reminds us that God is the ultimate authority over nations, leaders, and times. That truth does not call us to disengage. It calls us to respond with honesty, mercy, prayer, and calm confidence. We can care about justice and integrity without letting fear rule our hearts.
