The transition from the rest of the weekend into the responsibility of the work week is where most of us experience the most significant drift. We often compartmentalize our lives: Sunday is for God, and Monday is for the "real world."

This division is a lie. Your True North is just as relevant in a boardroom or a classroom as it is in a church sanctuary. To keep your compass steady, try the "Breath Prayer" technique during your Monday commute or morning routine.

A breath prayer is a short, rhythmic sentence said in one breath.

  • Inhale: "Lord Jesus..."
