The case grew out of a $10 billion lawsuit filed by Donald Trump against the IRS, alleging political targeting. The judge also pointed to possible consequences for the lawyers involved. Referrals were made to the Florida Bar for potential disciplinary review, and the court authorized outside transparency groups to seek reimbursement for their costs.
